Encounters I.
Digital illustration, Photoshop, oil pastels and
found textures. 2017. No, no, no, my eerie obsession with vintage 60's
alien iconography is not overt at all

"Cyprus, the City of Utopia" International Poster Competition
This was one fantastic and inspiring evening (10/03/2017) at the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation (Nicosia), where the first international poster competition "Cyprus, the City of Utopia" was held.
A big 'thank you' to the jury for shortlisting my illustration among the top 10 posters of the competition, as well as to the Graphic Stories Cyprus, an organisation promoting the professional conduct and creative development of graphic arts in Cyprus, for organising this superb event.

Logo Revamp
So excited having the time and inspiration to revamp my promotional logo. It always feels nice working with typography. Nonetheless, this logo has proven to be a rather good graphic design exercise for keeping me on my toes. Scanned charcoal and canvas textures, PS.
My aim here was to redefine my visual branding; a successful logo should be able to disseminate the creative's current essence – the gist of one's work if you like. A logo to a portfolio is what an abstract to an essay is.
